Role: SAP FICO Consultant (Accounts Payable (AP), Banking, Electronic Payments, and Payment File Integration)

Duration: 6 months
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in
Accounts Payable (AP), Banking, Electronic Payments, and Payment File
Integration.
The consultant will play a key role in a
strategic initiative to update and enhance payment files exchanged with banking
partners, ensuring compliance with the ISO 20022 XML payment messaging
standard.
The resource will work closely with business stakeholders, banking partners,
and technical teams to analyze current payment processes, implement required
SAP configurations, and support end-to-end testing and deployment.
Mandatory
Skills
• 7+
years of SAP FICO
experience.
• Strong expertise in:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Bank Accounting
- Electronic Payments
- Automatic Payment Program (F110)
- Payment Medium Workbench (PMW)
- Bank Communication Management (BCM)
• Hands-on experience with ISO 20022
XML payment formats.
• Experience integrating SAP payment files with external banking systems.
• Strong understanding of bank file formats and payment processing lifecycle.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation or transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead analysis and implementation activities related to SAP Accounts
Payable and Banking processes.
• Configure and support SAP payment programs, payment methods, bank
determination, and payment medium workbench.
• Design, develop, and validate payment files compliant with ISO 20022 XML
standards.
• Collaborate with banking partners to understand file format requirements and
conduct integration testing.
• Support creation and modification of payment formats, payment interfaces, and
bank communication processes.
• Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into SAP
solutions.
• Perform impact assessment of existing payment processes and recommend
necessary changes.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for
developments and enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and banking
regulations.
