Role: Power BI Developer with Snowflake & Python
Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ month

 

Rate: $50/hr C2C

 

Role Clarification:

  • Primary focus: Power BI developer with strong reporting lens
  • Secondary requirement: Understanding of data modeling and Snowflake as the sole data source to optimize performance
  • Key responsibilities: Migrate reports from OS to Power BI, build semantic models, optimize DAX functions, and determine best placement of calculations (Power BI vs. database)
  • Differentiator: Proactive problem-solving, working with COE teams, and building reusable templates

 

 

Must Have Skills:

·         Extensive experience in handling and processing large datasets (terabyte scale) daily.

·         Strong proficiency in Power BI Development, Snowflake-specific SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.

·         Expertise in data modeling techniques and optimizing storage and compute costs in Snowflake.

·         Proficient in scripting languages such as Python for automation.

·         Experience in integrating Snowflake with BI tools like Power BI

·         Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) and their data services.
