We have the onsite role in Tallahassee, FL.  Our client requires face to face interviews for this role.  There will be no exceptions by our client’s request.  No virtual interviews!

 

You may provide local to the Tallahassee area consultants or consultants who agree to a face to face interview.  The forms are attached here.  

 

You will now need to provide:

1. Driver’s license
2. Visa or Green Card, if applicable
3. Proof of current address if it does not match the driver’s license

Requirement for:      Security Analyst – Tallahassee, FL

Client:                        Florida Department of Corrections

Due Date:                   March 24, 2026 by 11am EST

Term                          April 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026 with the option for a 12-month renewal

The Department's OIT is seeking an experienced Security Analyst under the working title of Advanced Information Security Analyst.

LOCATION: The work will be conducted on-site with the Department's OIT at the Carlton Building at 501 South Calhoun Street and 315 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, Florida.  In addition, the selected Candidate must attend an in-person interview at the Carlton Building 501 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, Florida.

Five (5) years or more of server or network administration experience;
Three (3) years or more of information security administration experience in an enterprise environment with 1,000 or more users;
Two (2) years or more experience managing technical implementations;
Three (3) years or more of SIEM experience;
Three (3) years or more of vulnerability management experience;
Knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across all existing computer platforms; and
Experience maintaining and supporting 3rd party antivirus applications.

Experience working with IDS/IPS systems;
Experience using Office 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP);
Preparing status reports and providing management briefings;
Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
Experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, and Active Directory; and
Familiarity with law enforcement security standards, specifically CJIS, and other relevant state of Florida regulations.
