Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of clinical workflows, data engineering, and EHR modernization, driving transformation within Cerner Millennium environments.
You will:
✔ Translate clinical workflows into CCL logic &
data solutions
✔ Design and optimize Cerner CCL scripts
✔ Perform complex data extraction & validation from
Oracle schemas
✔ Support EHR migration & legacy system retirement
✔ Build and manage ETL pipelines & data feeds
✔ Collaborate with clinical, informatics, and technical
teams
Required Expertise
✔ 14+
years in healthcare IT / clinical data environments
✔ Deep expertise in Cerner Command Language (CCL)
✔ Strong understanding of Cerner Millennium
architecture
✔ Experience with EHR migration / implementation
✔ SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction
✔ ETL design & data integration
✔ REST / SOA and distributed systems
✔ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP /
OCI)
