Job Title: Java Technical Lead

Location: Dallas, Texas (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-term Contract Role(C2H).

 

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Technical Oversight:

  • Lead Java-based application development with a focus on Angular, Ionic, and Spring Boot.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile and Scrum methodologies for project execution.
  • Manage API specifications and oversee integration dependencies to ensure seamless operation.
  • Provide support for DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Provide technical leadership to onshore and offshore teams to ensure project success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between onshore and offshore teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project requirements.
  • Conduct regular cadence calls with customer stakeholders to monitor project progress and resolve issues.
  • Foster team morale by balancing workloads, improving productivity, and enhancing team collaboration.

Innovation & Problem Solving:

  • Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) initiatives to explore and implement innovative solutions.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues to streamline processes and ensure project efficiency.
  • Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot to drive coding excellence.

Customer Engagement:

  • Facilitate communication with customer stakeholders to address requirement gaps and data setup issues.
  • Resolve dependencies and issues to ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in Java-based application development.
  • Expertise in Java, Angular, Ionic, and Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in API management and integration.
  • Strong experience with DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leadership experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting complex issues.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the banking domain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for coding optimization.
  • Ability to lead POC initiatives and explore innovative technologies.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholder relationships and align requirements.
  • Team management skills to enhance productivity and collaboration.
