Seeking two experienced Business Analyst 3 professionals to support Medicaid IT systems modernization and enhancement initiatives. The selected candidates will work in a SAFe Agile environment on large-scale enterprise systems related to Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
The role requires strong business analysis, data analysis, and stakeholder collaboration skills to support the modernization of Medicaid applications and integration with multiple vendor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user requirements
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Support Medicaid IT Contracted Systems modernization initiatives
- Work within a SAFe Agile environment
- Assist with project and product oversight
- Support documentation and delivery of application enhancements
- Coordinate with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
- Analyze raw data and perform data analysis
- Conduct business process analysis and reengineering
- Create documentation to align systems with agency integration strategies
- Develop solution options and risk analysis
- Perform financial analysis such as cost/benefit and ROI
- Document functional requirements and system specifications
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related field
- 5+ years experience acting as liaison between business and IT teams
- Strong data analysis experience
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience analyzing complex business systems
- Experience with business process mapping and reengineering
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments
- Experience with Medicaid systems or healthcare IT
- Experience working with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
- Project management experience
- PMP certification is a strong plus
