Position Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing, regression testing, test planning, and software quality assurance methodologies. This role involves collaborating with technical and non-technical teams to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance through effective automated testing strategies and execution plans.
Key Responsibilities • Design and develop automated test scripts and testing frameworks • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data • Prioritize test scenarios and develop execution strategies • Perform functional, regression, and application testing • Analyze applications and develop regression test suites • Debug software issues and support defect resolution • Review and revise software processes to improve operational efficiency • Prepare detailed analysis documents, verification procedures, and testing documentation • Collaborate with development and business teams throughout the testing lifecycle • Support multiple projects and manage testing deliverables effectively
Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing • Strong experience designing automated tests and automation frameworks • Expertise in creating and executing test plans and test cases • Experience with functional, regression, and application testing • Strong understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies • Ability to interpret business and technical requirements • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Experience managing multiple priorities and deliverables simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Project Delivery Frameworks and documentation standards • Familiarity with enterprise information architecture and information management methodologies • Knowledge of modern software technologies and infrastructure architecture
Work Environment • Hybrid work model: 3 days remote and 2 days onsite (Monday & Tuesday) • Candidates must already reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area • Occasional evening or weekend support may be required based on project needs
