Role: Senior Full Stack Developer / Application Developer

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

 

Need 15+ Years of Experience

 

Job Responsibilities:                             

·       8 years or more of software development experience using Azure DevOps (“Azure Boards”) or a similar tool for managing assigned tasks, providing status updates, resolving defects, and practicing source code control.

·       Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) legacy data into new database structures and verifying application-database functionality.

·       Designing, developing, and implementing custom Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

·       15 years or more of software development experience in .Net using C#, and MVC architectural pattern is a plus.

·       8 years or more of software development experience performing the following tasks:

·       Exercising full-stack software design and programming activities to develop, unit test, systems test, and support custom web applications, web services, and APIs, using software development best practices to improve application administration, and ongoing maintainability and supportability.

·       Understanding application security vulnerabilities and applying remediation in code.

·       Analyzing and upgrading legacy applications from Microsoft technologies such as .NET Framework 2.x/4.x and Classic ASP to modern, supportable technologies such as .NET Core and .NET 10.

·       Designing and implementing databases and data storage solutions that ensure data integrity and cryptography is preserved when at-rest.

·       Implementing encryption and secure packaging for data in transit (ex. HTTPS, SSL, hashing) between system components and other users or endpoints.

·       Implementing the principle of least privilege across all functions implemented within applications being upgraded to supportable technologies.

·       Experience in creating new and/or modifying legacy databases to comply with State Information Security protection, performance and availability requirements.

·       Designing data entities, length, rules and any data related properties to support functional and non-functional requirements, security and referential integrity.

·       Analyzing and developing Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database structures, and implementations to identify any potential security, performance, availability, and ease of access to all applications in scope.

·       Understanding the different application security vulnerabilities shared by an information security specialist or Client’s staff and apply the remediation in code.

·       Recommending changes to improve security, performance, availability, and ease of access to all applications in scope.

·       Exercising best practices in creating secure databases that comply with State Information Security protection requirements, at the database level.

·       Modifying legacy databases to meet security requirements, and improve performance, availability, and data access.
