Hello again everyone,
The social event in LA is shaping up. From 5-7 PM on Saturday, Mar. 20, we will be brainstorming and planning the future of Recovering Fundamentalists, and then from 7 PM on we will eat and party. Please see the invitation below that Rob put on Facebook, which includes the ADDRESS. We plan to do some improv, so expect to have fun.
My dates in LA are still Mar. 18-24, but the dates for Dallas are now April 8-12. Again, if you want to meet up or invite me to speak somewhere, please let me know.

Recovering
Fundamentalists will be hosting a gathering on Saturday, March 20th at
7:00pm.
Not only will we be discussing our own journeys and beliefs, but we will be setting a plan of action in motion towards greater strength through unification. We will be laying the foundation for the future of Recovering Fundamentalists.
The grill will be fired up. We'll provide some basics (hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.), but feel free to bring food to your liking. We'll also provide some beverages (beer, wine, soda), but, again, feel free to bring a beverage to your liking.
Also, feel free to bring musical instruments. We'll have some musicians to provide live music, but we could always use more!
Here are some things to think about in preparation:
- How can you help? We'll be looking to establish volunteer assignments.
- Marketing. We'll need to spread the word. How can you help? Do you have a blog? Are you active on Twitter or Facebook?
-Counseling. Some people just need to be heard. Do you have time to listen?
-Content. We need content for our blogs. Are you a writer?
-Technology. We could use programmers or developers to help build and finish the applications on our road map.
-Video Editing. We have tons of audio and video footage that needs edited. We could use some help.
We are, of course, open to any suggestions regarding the best use of volunteer efforts. We'll discuss these things in detail.
