Hi All,

For the many people who question a predominantly medical approach to mental health matters, and those who would like there to be "more humane, non-coercive mental health services" there may be interest in attending Soteria Network's day of talks, discussion and AGM - as follows:

It is quite a way to go from Devon though it's in a lovely area - maybe best combined with a day or so of Pennine walking!

I have never worked in Devon's services but was so glad to find Soteria while working in the Midlands and feeling horrified at the coercion and heavy medicating of people, and dismissal of social and emotional factors as of little relevance!

For me this morning watching the heron on the river's edge, hearing the song of the wren, foraging for hogweed and wild garlic - and all the signs of Spring - are what lifted my spirits!
