Recovery Exchange


Please be aware that all posts on this group are PUBLIC and can be viewed by anyone. Please do not share private information or contact details.

 

 Purpose:

 To share information related to recovery and wellbeing

 To notify people of upcoming events, meetings and opportunities related to recovery and wellbeing

 To facilitate the discussion of recovery and wellbeing related topics

 To encourage people within the Recovery Devon community to feel they have a voice and the freedom to express it


 Terms of Use:

 The Recovery Exchange welcomes anyone with an interest in recovery and wellbeing to join

 People can request to join the Recovery Exchange via the group itself or via a link on the Recovery Devon website

 Although hosted by Recovery Devon, membership of the Recovery Exchange is not limited to residents of Devon

 Any member of the Recovery Exchange may post or comment

 Posts, replies and comments sent via the Recovery Exchange will be viewed by all members

 Individual members’ email addresses will be visible to others in the group.

 If members have a Google account they may post from the Recovery Exchange homepage and by clicking on ‘members’, email addresses of all members will be available. Group members who do not have a Google account may post to recoveryexchange@googlegroups.com

 We ask members to be mindful of each other’s inboxes and to keep posts of sensible length and frequency

 The Recovery Exchange will be self-regulated with monitoring provided by Recovery Devon

 Recovery Devon will post occasional reminders of the Recovery Exchange’s Purpose, Terms of Use and Member’s Options

 Member’s posts will not be moderated prior to going onto the Recovery Exchange although abusive or defamatory posts will be deleted

 We ask all members to be mindful that personal views on mental health may vary widely and to respect each other’s right to hold different opinions

 

Recovery Exchange Members’ options:

Members can choose to reply to the author of a post individually if they wish by using the private message facility

Members can limit the number of times they receive updates themselves. The default setting is to receive all emails as soon as they are posted.

Members may invite others to join the Recovery Exchange

Members may unsubscribe from the group at any time


Please Note:

As with all new ventures, we anticipate there may be some teething problems but we will endeavour to make the transition as smooth as possible.
