Suggestion : including Activity as a domain of hasOrHadLanguage

Dear all,

The domain of hasOrHadLanguage

    https://www.ica.org/standards/RiC/RiC-O_1-1.html#hasOrHadLanguage

is currently 

    rico:Agent or rico:Record or rico:RecordPart

I would be interested in having Activity added to this domain.

I understand however the point of view that the language is a direct and inherent property of a Record (if it contains written or oral material), but not necessary of an activity.

Maybe a better solution would be to allow the PerformanceRelation to include a property useOrUsedLanguage or withLanguage. That would be more expressive, without blurring the actual situation.

Please tell me if such suggestions would be better added on the issue section of the RIC github.

I think adding a performanceRelationWithLanguage as you suggest would be a good idea. So yes, you could add a comment to the issue you had already created on GitHub (https://github.com/ICA-EGAD/RiC-O/issues/146). We will include this addition to the ones we are currently working on for RiC-O 1.2.
