Events about RiC at the ICA Barcelona 2025 congress

Dear list, 

Just a few lines to give you the list of events related to RiC that are planned in the program of the international congress ICA Barcelona 2025 (https://icabarcelona2025.cat/programme/):

• On Monday, October 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the members of  EGAD participating in the congress will meet in room 128 of the CCIB · Barcelona International Convention Center. This meeting is open to all (the room has a capacity of 40 people). We will be happy to meet you there for informal discussions on any topics regarding RiC.
  
  
• On Monday, October 27, from 14:30 pm to 16:00 pm and from 16:30 pm to 18:00 pm,  in room 120, we will facilitate two "Come and play with RiC!" workshops, for persons who would like to discover RiC, using a card game (that will be released under a free license after the congress). I believe registration for these two workshops is closed.
  
  
• on Tuesday, October 28, in room 131-132, from 10:50 to 12:10, as part of the lightning talks session, there will be a 5 min talk on RiC 
  
  
• on Wednesday, October 29, in room 211, from 15:00 to 16:30 pm, there will be a session dedicated to 'the future of archival description', with a presentation by 4 members of EGAD, about "What's new on records in Contexts?" (where we will present for the first time RiC Application Guidelines, of which we are currently finalizing a draft 🙂); and two other presentations about projects using RiC.
