Setting username and password of Ubuntu Gutsy LiveCD

Hi all, I've got a nasty problem here. Reconstructor cannot set
username and password in a Gusty Live CD. How can I set them
manually? Is tehre a workaround of any sort? I need to login to the
Live CD and I necessarelly need to do it with an username and password.
I tryed everything to change the username and password but I dunno
how to do it exaclty. Any hints? You created reconstructor so maybe
you could please tell me how could I change username and password in

If I manage to solve it soon thanks to you then I'll surely make a donation :)
For now Geubuntu really depends on reconstructor... since no real programmer has joined the project....
