I'm no expert, I would guess that your graphics card isn't compatible. (At least this is the error I got when I tried doing this with an incompatible card.)
See the Device Compatibility Matrix here.

This application has failed to start because OpenCL.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Ok, so we went out and bought a new graphics card. Nividia Feforce GTX 550 Ti. Man, that thing was a bitch to install. It didn't fit in the desktop available space. and it needed a different power supply plug than was available. But after a lot of modifications we got it to fit. The program started up, first try with the new graphics card. The first time we tried a scan, it didn't catch anything at all. The second scan attempt caught a slight bit of something. Third scan I could see my leg pretty clearly, but when I moved the sensor, it disappeared and I could only see the carpet. Then we scanned the coffee table and all the objects on it, and it was pretty decent, but could probably get better. It seems like it gets better with each scan.
I just downloaded meshlab from that website when I tried to open a file, the only extensions that it will look for are .mlp and .aln. It can't find any of my .obj or .stl files.
Ok, we have gotten a couple pretty decent scans, but we keep getting a LOT of background images in them. We have a car model on the coffee table that we raise up a few inces from the table with some cans underneath. The coffee table and the carpet under the table are being scanned. We can't find any software that lets us separate the model that we want scanned from the background 'noise'. Any ideas. And I can't find the --calibrate anywhere.
