Hello Yaset,
and welcome to the ReconOS mailing list!
Just to confirm, is this the SoCkit board you are talking about?
https://rocketboards.org/foswiki/view/Documentation/ArrowSoCKitEvaluationBoard
From a first glance it should be (theoretically) possible to port ReconOS to
the SoCkit board: It has ARM processors, supports Linux, has enough RAM, a
UART etc. However, i consider it a huge task to port ReconOS to this board: up
to now all ReconOS implementations are based on Xilinx FPGAs and tools. We
have no experience with Altera FPGAs and tools. You would have to port the
Linux kernel drivers to Alteras Linux kernel version, exchange all Xilinx IP
with the corresponding Altera IP, and integrate everything with the Altera
toolchain.
I don't want to discourage you, we would love to see ReconOS ports to all
kinds of FPGA boards! I just wanted to point out that in this case, there is a
lot of work to do.
I hope that helped,
Sebastian Meisner
