Template generation Problem

Hello!

In sort_demo,RDK export_sw command creates the build.sw and put reconos_thread.h file from a template and it has lines that looks like

<<reconos_preproc>>
<<generate for RESOURCES>>
#define <<NameUpper>> 0x<<HexLocalId>>
<<end generate>>

Their is no error from RDK but software make doesn't compile. Same is the case with hardware export. Seems like RDK is not generating sources correctly from templates. Is this a problem of missing or different libraries that the python3 requires?

Hi,

 

I believe Sebastian had a similar issue (see “RDK problems”). The rdk toolchain requires python 3 and you also need to configure the system as utf8 by setting the LANG environment variable appropriately.
