Question:

Can I use the Android Emulator in-order to emulate the functionality of the MOD Live?

Answer:

Full emulation of Recon SDK is currently not possible using the Android Emulator. However, you can test the look and feel of your app as well as generic Android functionality with the following settings.

Resolution: 428x240
Android API Level 10
Mass Storage: SD Card
DPAD, back button and power button only for inputs

This will help with simpler apps, but for more complex apps you should use our device with Android Screencast.

Is there any plans to release emulator for testing the apps without Recon kit?

It would ease up the developing as no need for the real hardware to do the first tests.
