Hi all!
So I'm one of the developers on the Tactical HUD Project which is working to integrate new technology into the sport of paintball. We've been Recon Developers since the program came out and have been working on various ways to use Recon's hardware. For instance we're currently working on the following projects:
- Buddy tracking on movable maps of a paintball field
- Display of paintball marker information on the MOD Live and SNOW2 (marker settings, rounds fired, marker status, etc)
- Display settings visually from a SENA radio device
- Display video from a marker mounted camera - (Recon already did this with Contour)
- Display video from a UAV
- Pass and display game time and team status to various users
Thats just to mention a few things. Sadly we've realized that we don't have the level of Android programing expertise required to complete all of our objectives. Our hope is that we can leverage your expertise to fix and build what we can't. We are open to any thoughts and suggestions from this group since thanks to Recon and our other sponsors we've come a long way in the last 7 years!
