Hi everyone,
Thanks for joining. This is a small group on purpose — you're some of the first people outside the build to actually use this.
Quick backstory: Recommit started as a habit tracker. I built it, used it myself, and realized the model was wrong — a streak makes you feel like you failed the moment life gets in the way, and a long daily log isn't something you ever go back and read. So I pulled it apart and rebuilt it around something closer to a changelog for your life: you write one line when something happens, and when a stretch of time feels done, you name it, like a chapter, and it gets saved. Over time that becomes a version history you can actually read back, instead of a streak you're afraid to break.
What I need from you over the next two weeks: just use it. Write things down as they actually happen, not performed for the app. If something's confusing, unclear, or feels off, post it here, no matter how small. Bug reports and "I didn't get why X happened" are more useful to me than "looks good."
One thing I'll ask around day 7: whether naming a chapter made sense without me explaining it first. That's the one thing I genuinely can't test myself.
As a thank you for being early and sticking with it: everyone who stays opted in the full two weeks gets a full year of Premium free at launch, no strings.
Android only for now, sorry to anyone on iPhone — you're the reason a waitlist exists.
Ask me anything, here or however's easiest for you.
