BIG CLEAN-UP CALL! THIS IS IT!

Hey guys,

After 3 transect walks to survey the amount of garbage at besant nagar beach, a fund-raiser concert attended by 400 people, 2 clean-ups of the Kuppam and the theosophical society beach involving more than 300 people, the day is finally here! :).

 

The big clean-up of the entire besant nagar beach is on the 30th of january(Saturday) starting at 6:30 A.M. Please assemble at the police booth opposite Cozzee, where instructions will be given. The beach has been divided into 8 zones and people will be directed to different zones by ROB volunteers at the information desk. Gloves, Rakes, Tashcans and refreshments will be provided at the respective zones.

 

Its been 2 and a half months since ROB was formed and we've all worked really hard to achieve this much. After all the work we've done, your presence is essential for the big event on saturday. So please pass on the message to everyone: Forward this E-mail, SMS your friends, Invite more people on facebook and direct more traffic to the website! We will need all the help that we can get for this massive clean-up, so please try and make it. We'd also like to thank everyone who's helped us so far in this youth initiative, but would be more grateful if you are present on saturday.
