I just posted a revision to the
Dual-band ARDF Transmitter schematic (Rev X.1.2). The changes introduced in this version are small, and rather subtle. On pages 4 and 5, support for a Control Head have been removed. Small modifications to the WiFi LAN Module (the Adafruit HUZZAH ESP8266 breakout board) have been made to disconnect the I2C lines for now, but with the possibility of solder-blob jumpering I2C support later. Also, jumpers have been added to support using the USB port to program the ESP8266, or the ATmega328p - so if you don't have an FTDI serial cable, you won't need to buy one if you've installed the FT232R component in your transmitter(s) in order to bootload it.
Similar changes will also be brought into the Digital Interface Module board.
The transmitter design has been pretty stable for a while, so it is probably about time to start designing a board for it.
