Separate Transmitter Schematic Rev X.1

I've separated the 2-Band ARDF Transmitter schematic diagram into a document (and project) of its own. The schematic is linked to from OpenARDF: http://openardf.org/index.php/ardf-open-equipment-project/documents/

I've made all of the changes to the transmitter that I've mentioned in prior emails, and a few more: 

o The port expander is a 16-port push-pull totem pole variety, and will have no trouble driving any of the loads attached to it. 

 

o The antenna connectors allow the attachment of an antenna to signal the processor what type of antenna is attached: 2m, 80m classic, 80m Fox-O, or 80m Sprint. Since attaching an antenna will automatically set the band and sport type, there is no longer a need to configure the transmitter for those settings.

o More labels have been added, describing the function of the circuitry.

I believe this is close to being ready for circuit board layout - an activity that usually exposes a few more things that need to change.
