The 2-Band ARDF Transmitter schematic has been updated: Version X.1.1

The schematic now includes the ADAFRUIT HUZZAH ESP8266 BREAKOUT WiFi board (last page). Circuitry has been added to allow the WiFi, FTDI/USB, and cloning connector to all share one UART device on the ATmega328p processor. The three communication channels share the same UART, but must not be used simultaneously lest they interfere with one another. Software will need to prevent more than one of the channels being enabled at a time. (There is no way currently provided to disable the FTDI chip, so it will have highest priority.

The design has no pin jumpers or DIP switches, just one main power switch, and one pushbutton switch. If controlled over USB and/or WiFi it should be practical to build the transmitter into a sealed box and never have to re-open it until it is time to replace the Li-Ion battery.

The USB connector, and antenna connectors (2), are the most vulnerable external parts. They should be high quality, and shielded from the elements.
