isa modified quick release lock for camera accessories such as noga arms, range finders, wireless video transmitters and field monitors... etc. The AQR kit consists of 1x quick release base and 1x dovetail wedge.

The quick release base features one-handed control lever that locks in place at the release position which allows camera assistants or operators to conveniently insert the dovetail wedge along with attached accessory into the base then push on the lever to engage the lock easily.

The dovetail wedge (male plate) features 1x 1/4"-20 & 1x 3/8"-16 mounting points that can be mounted from both top and bottom. On top of that the bottom mounting points are captive design to allow screws to stay in place without falling out. This neat touch also eliminates the need of using set screws for mounting accessories on top, and will save users valuable time on sets.

Our AQR base is fully compatible with 16x9 Cinelock dovetail wedge (male plate). Over the years we have found that the locking mechanism on the base wear out and start to fail while the male plates are still intact. So we made them compatible!

The 16x9 Inc. Cine Lock is a convenient quick-release mounting device designed to work with all Noga Articulating Arms. 16x9 Inc.'s Cine Lock enables fast and easy non-thread mounting and removal of the arm and its cargo through an ingenious dove tail design. The device is made up of two parts, a male and female wedge/dove tail plate. The male plate is fitted onto the top and bottom of a Noga articulating arm. The female piece is attached both to the surface where the arm will be anchored, and onto whatever object the arm will hold. Once all pieces of the device are in place, the arm can easily be mounted onto a camera handle or tripod, for example - and a monitor or light can easily be mounted onto the arm itself.

The 16x9 Cine Lock Quick Release Mounting Device consists of two parts that each attach to separate pieces of equipment and then lock into one another, and at the slide of a pin they unlock and separate from each other. Thus they provide quick-release functionality between cameras and accessories, and can be used with most any 1/4" or 3/8" gear.

The two parts are a burgundy wedge and a gray plate. They each attach onto a piece of equipment regardless of whether the equipment has a stud or a screw-hole as its mounting option. Both parts have to them two different-sized screw-holes. Via one of the two, each part either screws onto a stud, or -- by means of one of three screws that come included with the Cine Lock -- gets fastened to a screw-hole of a piece of equipment. The screw-holes of the wedge and plate are of 1/4" and 3/8" sizes, and the included screws are of the same sizes.
