Is there limit like concurrent reCAPTCHA request with one key?

I use reCAPTCHA in front of my site when DDOS attack happens. If the
attack comes, I will redirect all the requests to the reCAPTCHA page.
If user types the correct letters of reCAPTCHA, I will add a extra
cookie and let this user access my site.

I wonder if there is any limit with the concurrent requests of
reCAPTCHA in google side? I think the performance is very important
for me.

No one knows? I have tested it. It seem there is no limit under my
thousands level concurrent request.

I have developed a Nginx module which can be used with reCAPTCHA. If
