ReCaptcha not stopping spam

I have the "I'm not a robot" version:

https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

Yet spambots are still getting through.

Any ideas on what to do? (I'm not a developer)

You're probably seeing spammers using humans to solve the CAPTCHAs. By
definition, there's nothing reCAPTCHA, or any CAPTCHA, can do about
that. You have to put in additional filters to block them out.

Only the CAPTCHA solving is done by humans. The rest of the process is automated, so it looks like any other spam.

What other filters you use depends on your application. For examples, you could check for key words or IP addresses or hidden form fields. Tuning the filters so they don't reject valid posts will take some trial and error. Good luck.
