I believe I know the problem but do not know how to fix it.

I was issued (yeah because I applied for it) a reCaptcha for my website and selected make it global or apply to all sites.

I have a site down for maintenance that uses reCaptcha. I think selecting this action caused the problem. NOW, my site that's down is inaccessible.
It's NOT accepting my username and password as an Admin. It's a Joomla 1.5 site.

ReCAPTCHA Text Error: The error message I get.

I'm rather desperate for help. What do I do!?!? Someone, please?

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,
Jhazzi

Jhazzi,

Talk to your histing company and get access via phpmyadmin to the database and deactivate that module that is requesting the reCaptcha. Just set it to "0" to turn it off under published.

Good luck.

If not the module,it will be the component. I'm not sure what one you are running.

Want a case of ketchup? *LOL* I was already signed into my cPanel. Was using both, component and module. Thank YOU so very much! That worked! I can get around pretty well but don't understand this stuff. I just do it. When I get into having to know more, I use Google first then backup the site and get busy experimenting but I could find nothing on this.

I appreciate you SO very much! Thenk you! *big grin*

My best,
Jhazzi

You're great! That should have read, "couldn't" instead of 'could' - couldn't find a solution to try.

Again, thanks!! :)
