'Clearly' you're sending users to non-existant pages. I've yet to see
any evidence of reCAPTCHA being the problem here...

reCAPTCHA doesn't send mail. This error has nothing to do with
reCAPTCHA. I suggest you target your request to one of the 'beginner'
lists for the language/package you're using, rather than blaming some
library that works for numerous others. This isn't a 'teach me PHP'
list.
This list is for people who are /experienced/ in the language/platform
they're using and are having problems with reCAPTCHA on that
language/platform, not for people new to language/platform and want
tutorials for said language/platform.
