Validating reCAPTCHA

Hi there

I just configura reCaptcha and it seems that works ok. The thing is
that when I submit my form with a wrog reCAPTCAH or even ignoring it
the form is submitted anyway.

Is this how it works or I'm missing something elementary here

Thanks for the wiki link. I do have a question. How do we verify that
"You probably aren't validating the reCAPTCHA with the API servers."
is the problem?

I am calling !validate_recap(params,nil). Does this mean that we are
contacting the server fo the validation?
