I use the goodreads website which uses your validation applet. I'd
like to suggest that you tone down the amount of distortion that you
add to text with the wave function. I've failed as often as I've
suceeded in recognizing the text you display and last I checked I'm
human with great eyesight

I think they are catching on to the over-abundance of complains about the text being unreadable to the human eye. A great product but for now it's causing too many sites to become UN-user friendly, I think this will be fixed soon, meaning to the extent that they do not deny all  these posts as if we & not recaptcha is the problem.

Amen brother.

I am getting to the point that I no not want to even TRY to post on
any website using this program. And the audio is even worse! I have
learned the hard way from losing waaaay too many posts to copy the
text BEFORE truing to post using reCaptcha. Hope they fix it. I am
starting to complain to websites using it so they will get the message
that there are other effective systems to use that are friendlier.

You shouldn't have to re-enter your post. That's just sloppy/lazy
programming on the part of the site owners. Unfortunately, no one here
can do anything about it. You'll have to complain to them. Meanwhile,
when you get a reCAPTCHA error page, try using the "back" button on your
browser to return to your post. That usually preserves what you typed in.

This has nothing to do with reCAPTCHA.

If the form, say, had a(nother) required field and you failed to fill it out, and you missed it out, these same websites would do exactly the same thing and present a blank form for you to fill out again.
