Recaptcha randomly not displaying

We have a new signup form. in IE10, on about every 5th to 10th page load it displays a broken image. When using the reload feature it's even more frequent. Of course, this is happening for our client. From Firefox and Chrome, I can refresh 30+ times and no errors occur so it seems to be isolated to IE.

 

Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to resolve it?

We have the same issue. The image shows up all the time in both Chrome and Firefox but not IE. We have tested in IE8/9/10 with Quirky mode on/off and have the problem. Sometimes the image does not show up.

Same problem here.  I looks like IE10 doesn't like the JPEG format that Recaptcha generates.  I attach two JPEG generated by Recaptcha.  One of them loads in IE10 and they other doesn't.

Similar issue here.  The reCaptcha image does not appear intermittently in all versions of IE.  Tested in IE10 and changed Browser mode in developer tools which may make not be a true indicator that it will not work in other versions of IE.

The error is still occurring sporratically. I am using IE9 for testing and had the reCaptcha break to a nonloading image multiple times. I checked to see if key switching would work and it still does the same and is not throwing its server error.
