Have to agree. Don't have the patience to sit here and try to figure out what the frekkin letters are. they are usually so distorted I can't tell what the hell they are.

I wouldn't say reCAPTCHA sucks, it has been a good product although somewhat difficult to use.

But lately they increased the difficulty and I'm finding almost impossible to pass the test now. It's getting to the point that I'll have to just quit using sites that use reCAPTCHA. It's too difficult for me to prove that I'm a human..

I don't know, maybe the reCAPTCHA designers disagree with me that I deserve the status of being treated as a human being.

So, it has gotten worse since 2013.  The damned fools tell me to identify all photos of cars.  They expect me to include pick-up trucks, but they don't say that. Programmed by ignorant little millennial snots??
