ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key reCAPTCHA

I have not been able to resolve the above error message. I went to the below link which claims I just need to register a new key, but that hasn't worked. I can't log into my site through WordPress admin and this is causing problems for my business. Someone please help!

Recently my reCAPTCHA widget started displaying "Invalid site key". What's happening?

If you are seeing this error, your reCAPTCHA site key is no longer valid. To activate, please register a new key and follow the instructions on that page.

I have verified through https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#site that my domain is listed. What else can I do?

It's really upsetting that Google doesn't have a direct contact number for customer support.

I have the same problem and it is also causing much distress. I have been through the logs, etc and tried different things - all to no avail. There was a suggestion that ReCAPTCHA might have to reboot something to get it to work, but like you I cannot find any contact details. My site is live and displaying this message to the entire world (invalid site key). I cannot get contacts through my contact page. It was a standard contact form imposed by AVADA Envato - whose customer service is non-existent also. I don't understand why these things are imposed on customers so that you are then stuck with this problem and your site looking very unprofessional. Why are American companies so bad at customer service? Not even the basics.

I would copy your site to a local machine and try adding localhost to the list of valid domains.  See if you can get in.

What is the exact url where you observe the reCaptcha not working?  The problem is usually the domain not matching any of the listed hosts.

gestical.ch is the site and I can login in the admin site with /wp-admin

If you're absolutely certain that your domain is listed and it still doesn't work, I would delete the key entirely and start over.  This service is typically very solid so I'm sure the problem will be found and fixed.

the reverse IP address of your domain resolves to hostpoint.ch.  Add that to the list of domains the reCAPTCHA should accept.

I don't understand how can resolve the problem with the IP (in the hostpoint.ch account settings) and I don't understand which domains add in the reCaptcha account

Put hostpoint.ch in the reCAPTCHA domain box.  Leave gestical.ch in there as well.  One on each line.

I have registered  a public static IP (have not registered a site) to test recaptcha.   reCAPTCHA initiates with: "ERROR for site owner:Invalid domain for site key" in the recaptcha box. Can I use a static IP untead of a domain name?  Can anyone advise on how the register it on the recaptcha site?  Thanks.

Please make sure the domain you have entered in your site's admin page does not include the protocol. e.g. enter "www.pureagen.com", not "https://www.pureagen.com".
