Hello,

I implemented invisible recaptcha on my form and it is working as expected. I have been testing with domain set in Domains field in captcha admin form and everything was ok. When i uncheck "Domain Name Validation" in Advanced settings i get "ERROR for site owner: Invalid site key". Any ideas what could be wrong? If i reenable domain verification key works again after a few minutes.

Thank you, Jurij

I'm currently having the same problem with the regular captcha, have you found a solution?

I have not, currently the workaround we are using is listing domains on captcha side but it is a big pain since we have a lot of domains and we really need this fixed asap...

Same problem here. A new key works for a few minutes and then throws the error.

Hello,

Thank you for your report. There is a propagation delay before the settings take effect. We are reducing that delay soon. Have a great day!

I don't believe that is the root cause, I've waiting a week and am still getting the error.

Erm, I suggest that support look at this again as soon as possible.

Recaptcha works if the 'Domain Name Validation' is enabled.

Disable it, and it automatically starts throwing the 'ERROR for sit owner: Invalid site key' error, despite the key being correct.

Obviously the site key is correct, and some part of the validation process is throwing this non-descriptive error.

My issue is similar. I complete the reCAPTCHA(which I might add has become VERY unuser friendly making completion of captchas many times necessary to receive the green arrow) only to submit and receive a 'reCaptcha verification invalid.' message. As many of my sites require this captcha to be completed to sign in, I obviously cannot even do this. Help please.

Yeah, as I a software engineer I'm rather well versed on how web forms work!

But I digress. I've actually just figured out what the problem is.

I'm working from localhost, as I'm still developing a website.

If I disable domain name validation and localhost isn't listed in the list of domains, I get the sitekey error.

If I then re-enable the domain name validation, add an entry for localhost, then disable domain validation again, it actually works! (allowing a few minutes for propogation to occur).

So it seems that if you are disabling the domain name validation, and you're using localhost, you STILL have to have localhost in the list of domains!

Is anyone else able to confirm this?

Google - You really need to make it more clear that if you're disabling the domain name validation and using localhost, that it still needs to be in the list of allowed domains!

Thanks,

Dale

Same problem here, but with the regular reCaptcha. Any solutions?

Same issue, this is not working and we can't include more than 50 domains when we have at least 2000 domains to protect.

Hi everybody!
I've implemented invisible button onto my web and get alert "
Скрытая проверка captcha не включена для этого ключа.
"
The site key is correct (I checked). Domain check was Off and On - the alert is the same.
What should I fix?
