Hello,

Our application is running on websphere 6. We installed the google signer cert by following the below procedure:

Security > SSL certificate and key management > Key stores and certificates > NodeDefaultTrustStore (for Base Server) or CellDefaultTrustStore (if on Network Deployment cell) > Signer certificates > Retrieve from port button

hostname: www.google.com
port: 443
Alis: some name...

We have to do this every few weeks because the certificate keeps changes from google. Mostly with a different expiration date. We are considering removing reCAPTCHA because this issue has become too frequent and our production servers need to be bounced often.

Is there a solution to this issue or is this something without a work around?

Yes, this is really annoying. We are also suffering from this frequent CERT changes. I wonder if it would be possible to embed the Captcha over ssl, but calling the API over port 80. We are also activly searching for a ReCaptcha alternative currently.
