It took me less than a minute to find people discussing ways to get around the new "no recaptcha" checkbox. I'd really like to just disable that feature and require users complete a captcha test every time the form is filled out rather than just making the assumption via cookies that the user isn't a spam bot. I looked through the documentation but couldn't find any way to configure it to disable the new "no recaptcha" feature. Is this possible? Will this be possible? Or am I going to have to scrap my implementation and go with v1.0?
Thanks for your time.

Also, I'm trying to revert having solved a recaptcha so that I can -- as a developer -- verify my implementation is working properly for those users who haven't solved one. I tried clearing out my local storage and my cookies and nothing seems to reset it.

You can't do this with Recaptcha because it deliberately serves different things to different people depending on browser headers, IP, etc. This is true both for v1 and v2. If you use Recaptcha, you should assume that no matter what you do, it will not be working properly for ~10% of your users.

v1 also lets people through with arbitrary input if Google deems they're not a spambot with sufficient confidence.

Thanks very much for the information. I've gone ahead with implementing v2, and I've just made people aware that enabling it may cause a noticeable loss in engagement. It's certainly better than having to squint and read barely-legible letters and numbers, I'll give it that.
