Remove Captcha in OSCommerce

Hi All.

I have Captcha installed on my "Create Account" and "Contact Us" page
within OSCommerce 2.3 - a developer did it for me.

I now want to remove Captcha from both pages and started by deleting
the lines referring to Captcha in create_account.php - that worked
well and the test afterwards was successfull.

When I did the same with contact_us.php and tested it, the page hangs
and does not move on to confirm that an email has been sent. I then
deleted recaptchalib.php and it still does the same.

Can anybody help me how to remove Captcha completely?

I think you'd be better off asking on OSCommerce's forums - having had
a brief search for the plugin I think you're using[1], I'm not too
impressed with the documentation (or, indeed, the source) for it - the
files are highly obfuscated to the point that they refer to URL's on
the author's homepage that no longer exist.

Alternatively you could contact the author directly[2]

Hi and thx for the repsonse. I did not use a OSC plugin/add-on, the
developer did it via php.
I did pose the question on the OSC form and the best they could do was
to say I must follow the Captcha installation instructions but in
reverse order, deletion - hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

That is when I got stuck on the "Contact Us" page and cannot proceed.
Also, I am not sure if I should first delete my website from Captcha
to complete the uninstall procedure - bit confused at this stage to
say the least.
