Hi Gurus,

We have implemented the reCaptcha in our registration page. But we are
getting this error when we submit the form:

net.tanesha.recaptcha.ReCaptchaException: Cannot load URL: Server
returned HTTP response code: 407 for URL: http://api-verify.recaptcha.net/verify

Could you please help how we can get through this error? Any help is
really appreciated!

Thanks,
PortalGuy

407 error is proxy authentication required. You should talk to your
system admin about this.

Hi Dom,

Could you please let me know what exactly I should be asking my System Admin/Network team?

Thanks,
PortalGuy

Your server needs to be able to make an outbound HTTP connection to
http://api-verify.recaptcha.net/

It seems that it is connecting through a proxy which requires
authentication, but hasn't been set up provide any authentication. This
is straining the length of my knowledge on the subject of proxies. I'm
not even sure if this is a server configuration issue or a script issue.

If this can be solved script side someone else will have to help you as
I don't know the plugin you are using.
