Hi...

Does anyone here have, or know where I can find, plans (or just a detailed
picture)
of an Art Deco Wardrobe?

Thanks and regards,

Bill Walker

Do a search on work by Jacques-Emile Ruhlman
I've seen a wardrobe by him and it was just stunning
There are books about his work and he is reasonably well doecumented

Dear Bill,

Let me know if find a picture you like. I would love to add
an Art Deco design to my low-stress computer furniture plans Web site
(URL below). I would be happy to detail the design for you.

This reminds me that I must get down to the Washington DC Art
Deco exhibit. I think it closes in a few weeks.

Thanks for the posting.

Try the Design books by Fine Woodworking. I'm sure I saw a couple of
picures in them, just not sure which book.

I've never seen plans, but here's a couple books with
detailed photos:

Alastair Duncan, Art Deco Furniture

Habeggar and osman, Sourcebook for Modern Furniture

foir modern work, much of which echoes the aesthetic of the
more streamlined Deco work, I highly recommend Betty Norbury's book
Furniture for the Twenty-First Century.

Be aware that the term 'art deco" actually covers several quite
distinct design styles -- the Ducan book is quite comprehensive.
