Well, we're approaching the holidays again and it's time for me
to decide what project to pursue to drive me crazy this year.
One of my daughters, who is a budding artist, has been hinting that
she would like an artist's easel. I know this sounds pretty simple,
but I was wondering if anyone has run across any plans for an
easel that looked interesting.

Thanks in advance.

Norm did a child's easel as part of his children's furniture series. It
was quite elaborate and had some nice features. Depending on your
daughter's age, you might want to modify it to, for example, just have a
simle tray rather than having cutouts specifically to hold paints, etc.
But the basic design was nice. Good luck!

Plans for such an easel were published in Woodwork magazine sometime in
the last 18 months; don't have it to hand or I'd send you the exact issue
number.

Best,
Tb.
