To repair it, you must first identify the problem, then fix it.

Expecting someone else to tell you what's wrong when you don't even
identify the equipment in the question is pointless. Brand and
model at the minimum.

The belt or chain could be broken. Or a shear key may have sheared on
a pulley.

Planers generally have at least 2 belts/chains.

The universal trouble shooting process that works for everything is simply
this: What doesn't work? Does the stage immediately upstream or downstream
work or not? Keep going until you find the point where it either works and
stops or doesn't work and starts.
