Plans for Artist's easel.

I do band frames for a painter friend of mine, at least 10 or so a month, she'd
been bugging me to build her an eazel so I took the opportunity to get her into
an art supply store she hadn't been to where they sold some nice eazels so she
could descide on what style she liked. A few weeks later she anounced that she
had bought one. :)

I've always found a quick trip to see what's commercially available has
given me enough of an idea to make something at least as functional.
Online pictures help as well. Sorry I don't have any direct suggestions
for plans.

However, I do think you have the right idea about tools. At my place, we
have "Rick's rule of projects" which clearly states that any project (or
gift hint) requested by SWMBO results in purchase of a new tool for the
shop, notwithstanding the fact that the tool may not be actually used for
creating that particular project. <smile>
