After reading all of the discussion about Grizzly and their products, I
have decided it is worth the risk to buy an import heavy duty table saw.
The two models I am looking at are the Grizzly G1023 and the Enlon EN3202.
I would definitely feel comfortable buying the Grizzly, but there are
several things about the Enlon that appeal to me over the Grizzly and if
they are essentially the same saw, scales might tip in favor of the Enlon.

The Enlon is currently slightly cheaper than the Grizzly and has quite a
few more factory options available (including a sliding table). It also
appears to have a better fence, although a recent post seems to indicate
that that is not true. Although, I think there is an option to upgrade
the fence at the factory. It also has a clear blade guard as opposed to
the slotted metal one on the Grizzly.

Does anybody have any experience with the Enlon, or both the Enlon and
Grizzly?

Please post the responses because my mail is flaky at the moment.

Thanks...

I own a Grizzley g1023. There are two things about it that I don't
like. One, when I bought it there was a cheap plastic, and broken, handle
on the fence hold down. When I called for a replacement they sent what
is obviously the handle I should have gotten with the saw in the first
place. Which brings me to the second thing I don't like. Their customer
service phone number is NOT toll free. I figure for eight hundred and
fifty dollars if they can't give me a working unit then they should be
picking up the cost of a call. I told them this and they said a bunch of
stuff that added up to "tough luck." As far as the operation of the saw
is concerned it is perfectly adequate for my needs. It will cut through
just about anything without bogging down and I have put it on an HTC
stand. I have also made a sliding chop box and mounted a router table
between the rails. Despite all this I haven't heard any complaints from
the table. Good reliable machine. I think I'll keep it.
