Can anyone help?
Is a Bic Samba 5.7m sail OK for a beginner/intermediate?
Is it suitable for someone who weighs around 15st (I'm losing weight -
honest!!)
Thanks for the help.
Andrew
Oh bye the way how much would I expect to pay for a second hand one? and
how much are they new.
Sorry the details are sketchy but thats all I know.

For you big guys, Yes. the sail is small, but perfect for learning the
basics.

Have you ever thought of having the top cap extened a little. If you have
the standard Bic GRP mast, you could also cut a bit off the bottom if you
aren't able to downhaul the sail all the way to the sheaves on the mast
base.
If the sail is rigging that high, you either aren't downhauling it enough,
or the mast is too long for the sail.

Better fix the height of the rig, or you may sail the Samba for a very long
time.
