aka a million other names, are one and the same person.
I think Oneup is Sinbad's split schizophrenic personality, the part
that hates the rest of himself so vehemently he is compelled to insult
himself on the internet. One of Sinbad's famous tricks is replying to
his own posts via an alias, usually in support of some ridiculous
position. Oneup ALWAYS materializes immediately thereafter in
opposition. Oneup never misses a post of sinbad's to insult, even
chasing down all his aliases, but is totally inactive otherwise.
Curious.
If I'm wrong, sincere apologies to Oneup, but I smell a rat.

Apologies accepted, but your concept is insightful. And if it helps
you visualize Brucie as a schizoid wacko, then go with it. Your
notion that I'm him will annoy him more than my badgering -- if he
understands it, that is.
I'm not totally inactive (for example, I'm responding to you), but I
feel it's pointless and wrong to insult folks who are decent, funny,
lighthearted., intelligent, and generally supportive and helpful. I
prefer to hammer on one particular hammerhead who deserves to be
hammered into the ground like a tent peg.
And, yes, I've missed (quite) a few of his vitriolic posts.

One more nuance ---- I don't hate Brucie vehemently. I rather like
the guy. He is persistent. We should should call him "Mr.
Timex." (Takes a kickin' and keeps on tickin'.) But it *is* fun to
