Hatteras Loop Fest First Successful Commit!!

This morning, we had our first successful participant commit and

Boy if you guys don't have a successful loopfest this weekend there's no
hope! What a great forecast starting yesterday.....20-25 knots every
afternoon till Monday and head-high surf. Can't wait to read about it.
Nothing like torturing myself.

I met Donald this morning and gave him a few tips! We're all sailing
this afternoon, should be able to get him to chuck a loop or two, as
long as the conditions aren't too hectic for newbies! Sometimes head
high and 4.5 conditions can be a bit much for first timers...

Yea, we are on fire for the LoopFest LoopOff tomorrow!! Only drawback
is that I have one open and a few ready to pop blisters on my hands
from the past two days of sailing!! Oh well, I am going to suck it up
and spin tomorrow!! Will likely need to post a photo Tuesday of
simply my hands after this Bermuda High windfest here in Hatteras. SW
25+ every day though Monday, and surf too!!! Bring it on!

Congrats on your first successful loop contest, Bill! Wish I could've been
there. Maybe next year. Next year I'll block off the weekend after the
official date in case it gets delayed again.

Looking forwards to seeing the pics.
