Removing Sticker adhesive from sails ???

Anybody got a good way of removing sticker glue/adhesive from monofilm ?
I.E. the glue/adhesive left behind after you remove stickers from monfilm.

Try acetone, fingernail polish remover, or WD-40. The belt sander may be a
little overkill.

Has anyone tried Avon Skin-So-Soft for these adhesives? It works to remove
adhesives from many surfaces (vinyl guitar cases, for example), but I have
never tried it on monofilm.

Say NO to acetone and other similar solvents.
Get some 'Goo Gone' at your hardware or auto supply store. Or, try 3M
Citrus Based Cleaner.
Both are clean and far less hazardous to you and the environment.
Plus, they work better and are cheaper...

Apply, let it sit for a few minutes and then scrape/wipe in one
direction. Repeat as necessary. Your sail will look new...

Yeah, get the goo-gone stuff from a hardware store. Works really
well.

Hi, Don''t be tempted to use solvents on your sails, One year I used
Metholated Sprits and my sail went cloudy. Now I use Goo Remover or
Eucalyptus Oil and I have no more problems
