Tiga Rebel dates from around 1992/3. It's a 295 Dedicated Slalom Board
(long, narrow & boxey rails) intended for straight line blasting. It's
295cm long with 120 l. volume.
It was tested in Boards mag (UK) April 92, issue #84 & Windsurf mag (UK)
April '93, issue #124. Briefly, here's what they said:
Boards - Very fast indeed (remember, this was '92 :-) )..., v.
comfortable underfoot..., high performance 295 with quality fitings...,
a great heavyweight's slalom board..., tough, knockabout but still light
(12.5Kg!!!).
Windsurf - Double concave hull with medium "vee" throughout...,medium
nose rocker.., Like other heavier boards, is not that fast onto the
plane & doesn't have good top speed when powered up (this is 1 year
later!!). Narrow, gunny shape..., easy to gybe without bouncing out.
Take your pick of the reviews!
UK price in 1993 was around 500 pounds sterling.
