Dear all,

subject to WSSRC ratification, Finian Maynard (BVI) set a speed of 46.82
knots on November, 13th 2004 on the "trench" in St. Maries de la Mer.

This claim would mean a new world speed sailing record. We are all
looking forward for the WSSRC ratification.

There are also claims for new dutch and british records, all of them
subject to WSSRC ratification.

There are another strong winds forecasted for tomorrow, so there is a
chance of beating these times again.

For the moment: Congratulations guys !

More information can be found soon at www.speedsurfing.org and
www.mastersofspeed.com

Best regards,
Markus
